The Psalms 46:10 "Non-Movement" Movement

Psalms 46:10 The Non-Movement
“Be still and know that I am God.”

Join a major prayer event taking place across the entire country on
January 9th, 2010 at exactly 12:00 noon.
Thousands of individuals, families and friends will be
participating in this “Flash Prayer Mob.”

What is a Flash Mob?
A flash mob occurs when a multitude of people (mob), otherwise unconnected, come together for a specific purpose at a specific time (flash). The mob seems to come out of nowhere and leave just as quickly when the flash is over.

How do I participate in the
Psalms 46:10
Non-Movement Flash Mob?

* First- Synchronize your watches at http://www.thetimenow.com/
* Then- Make your way to the nearest big shopping mall.
* Next- at exactly 12:00 noon-you will FREEZE in a position of prayer/worship.
*Now- remain FROZEN for a full 5 Minutes. See the following website for an example: http://www.sydneyflashmob.com/
While frozen…PRAY
* Finally- at precisely 12:05 –Unfreeze and quickly blend back in with the crowd (Make sure you or someone you’re with is frozen with a watch in view)

IMPORTANT!!!

1. If you are going with a church group or school, please do NOT take a bus or van. The idea is to filter in among the shoppers, spread out and do not do anything to draw attention to yourself before noon…(Like having cameras stationed around you)We do not want anyone to anticipate that something is going to happen. At the strike of 12:00 you will freeze wherever you are…
so be sure to spread out if you're with a group. You can designate someone to get it on camera after the freeze starts.  (Be sure to send us that footage!)

2. Wear clothes that show either Christian Faith or American Pride-if you have it, but don’t overdo it…dress in such a way that people will only begin to notice it after they see you frozen…
Remember, they will be staring at you…
3. 5 Minutes will be a long time to be frozen. Practice. Be sure to pick a position that you can hold. Be creative, for example: A family with hands joined, a man on his knees, an older couple sitting on a bench with heads bowed, some teens with arms outstretched in praise, a parent kneeling with a young child…imagine: Every generation praying and praising!

4. Key: Pray! It’s cool to freeze and look like you’re praying…but its not enough…We must pray!!! Prayer changes things. We’ve all sat on our couches and wondered what we can do…there is nothing more powerful than prayer…imagine, praying at the same exact moment as thousands of others across the nation.

5. What do we pray for? God’s mercy and forgiveness- (personal and national), wisdom for our leaders, protection for our freedoms, financial stability for our country,
a turning back to God as a people...
